Through hands-on activities and STEM challenges, children will think, construct, experiment, discover, and develop the desire to learn more. The children will explore the use of different learning tools that enable and emphasize STEM learning. Participants will learn something new and experience a different kind of fun in each class.. Learning is best when kids are having fun! STEM is Fun! Classes are conducted one hour per week for six weeks.

This class will teach the fundamentals of acting and to encourage self confidence, a spirit of generous teamwork, and a true sense of purpose and appreciation for the goodness and beauty of the performing arts. Each week the young actors and actresses will have the opportunity to explore a variety of theatrical elements and techniques. They will learn the basics of acting in front of an audience, e.g. articulation, projection, and self-expression through the art of acting. Participants will learn what it means to see the world through another’s eyes!

Extended Learning Program participants in grades K - 3 are invited to bring their stuffed animal friends to enjoy story time with Ms. Olivia. Ms. Olivia will share the magic of literature during an enchanted hour of reading and fun. Special guest readers will make surprise appearances. Stuffy Club and instructor Ms.Olivia will also create their very own stuffed animals with the Let's Gogh Art Critter A Critter workshop.NOTE: EXTENDED LEARNING STUDENTS ONLY

QuickStart tennis is the newest rage sweeping the junior tennis world! This program allows younger children to play tennis using a smaller court, softer balls and other specialized equipment. Kids are extremely engaged and they learn skills that can be applied to more advanced techniques as they improve. The MLTC has been offering high-level tennis instruction in Acton for over 16 years and the program was one of the first in the area to offer QuickStart methods. Student should wear sneakers and dress comfortably. Rackets provided.This class is designed for K - 3 beginner participants. NOTE: EXTENDED LEARNING STUDENTS ONLY
