NRHS Facility Advisory Committee

The Nashoba Regional School District is seeking volunteers to serve on the

Nashoba Regional High School Facility Advisory Committee

The Nashoba Regional High School, which was built in 1961, is being evaluated to address outdated and problematic deficiencies in both the physical building and its systems for possible renovation or replacement.  The Superintendent of Schools is asking for volunteers to study and make recommendation to the NRSD School Committee as to whether or not the district should further pursue a Statement of Interest (SOI) process with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.  It is anticipated that this recommendation be made in the early fall of 2017.

The work of this committee will also include appropriate outreach to our three communities which will include a position on whether to pursue further with MSBA, costs, and timelines.

Committee members must be residents of the towns of Bolton, Lancaster and Stow, be able and willing to commit to a varied schedule of meetings, and to fully participate in those meetings.  Knowledge of construction or facilities management would be an asset, though it is not required.

Interested community members should express their interest in serving by submitting their name, physical address, electronic address, phone number and a short statement as to why they are interested in serving, to Aleta Masterson, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, at 50 Mechanic St., Bolton MA 01740 or by email to

Expressions of interest in serving must be received by August 16, 2017.
