Over the past two weeks, each of our schools opened their doors to families and caregivers for our annual Open House events. These evenings give families a chance to step into the spaces that shape their children's school days: classrooms and libraries, lunchrooms and gymnasiums, and everything in between.
Just as important, Open House gives our educators a chance to introduce themselves, share how their classrooms run day to day, and offer a window into the learning your child will experience this year. When families feel informed and connected to what happens in our classrooms, students benefit from having their school and home communities working together to support them through another successful year.
As we look ahead, we also want to keep learning from your experience. Following each Open House, families were invited to share feedback through our district's survey platform, ThoughtExchange. These surveys help us understand what made the evening valuable and where we can do better, and that feedback will shape how we plan next year's Open House events, always with an eye toward making them welcoming, informative, and worth your time.
We are grateful to every parent and caregiver who made time in a busy schedule to join us, and to those who took a moment to share their thoughts afterward. Your participation helps make these events meaningful and plays a real role in supporting our school and community partnership.
